Bright-eyed and ready for adventure, this toddler tee brings a little slice of Maine-made charm to everyday play. The hand-drawn American Crow and friends feel like a tiny woodland story stitched into soft fabric — curious crows, friendly critters, and gentle lines that invite small hands to trace their wings. It’s lightweight and breathable, so layered under a jacket for cool mornings or worn alone on sunlit afternoons, it moves with the child during rambles in the yard, visits to the playground, or cozy story time at home. The handmade design by a local Maine artist gives the shirt character and a warm, personal touch that parents notice and kids love to wear again and again. Product features - Structured fit with side seams for shape and durability - Mostly 100% cotton construction for softness (fiber content varies by color) - Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton for a smooth, gentle feel - Lightweight fabric (4.2 oz/yd²) keeps active toddlers comfortable - Tear-away label for itch-free wear Care instructions - Machine wash: cold (max 30C or 90F) - Do not bleach - Tumble dry: low heat - Iron, steam or dry: low heat - Do not dry cleanAbout the Artist, Cee: Each creative idea I bring to life springs from daily immersion in the beauty of nature. I listen, observe, walk and wonder through the meadows, woods, and waters of Maine, or the wild places I travel to, like the high deserts or sprawling coastal beaches of the west.

Many ideas come and go, but the ones that take root often grow from watching my daughter discover the natural world with curiosity and delight.

I begin by playing with nontoxic acrylics on watercolor paper, creating layers of color and texture inspired by what I’ve seen outdoors. From there, I study the plants and animals I want to include, sketching and refining until the composition feels alive. I cut, paint, and rework each shape—eyes, wings, leaves—until it feels right, then assemble the pieces into a finished image that carries that sense of life and connection.

I graduated from the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Vancouver, BC, in 2007, earning a bachelors in fine art. Since then I have been exhibiting in group shows, juried exhibits, online galleries and have even won several awards for my work. I started making children’s books and illustration when my amazing little human was born, in 2024!
