A fuzzy bumblebee dances above a vibrant circle of New England asters in this charming giclée print. Created from an original hand-painted artwork by artist Cee Thorketil—author of the beloved nature guide Who Lives Here? In the Northeast Woods—this piece captures the delightful moment when pollinator meets bloom. Museum-quality printing ensures rich color and lasting beauty, while your choice of framing options lets you customize the look to match your space. Whether you're a nature lover, woodland enthusiast, or simply drawn to the gentle humor of a bee in full flight, this print brings a touch of forest magic to any room. Perfect for galleries, studies, or anywhere you want to celebrate the small wonders of the natural world.

🖼️ Framing Options

Available unframed, matted without framing, or framed in American-sourced solid oak and shatterproof, UV-protective plexiglass — a safer, lightweight choice for nurseries, playrooms, and family spaces.

Every print in this shop is created using professional giclée printing to preserve the intricate detail and vibrant colors of the original. My production partner, Artelo, inspects every print by hand before shipping.

🌿 About the Artist

Cee Thorketil (C. Grimes) is a naturalist, artist, and writer living with her family on Bard Owl Farm, a regenerative eco-farm and forest in Maine, USA. Her art is inspired by the wild species she encounters in daily nature immersion, woven with her love for storytelling, biology & ecology, and imaginative play.

The name Bard Owl is a play on the owl species name, Barred Owl, whose calls can be heard most nights on the farm. Owls have long been associated with the dream realm, wisdom, and magic, but are also amazing species in their own right! Bard’s are mythical people who can weave magic into their creations. Combining the two terms reflects Cee’s deep connection to nature, fantasy, and the creative “bardic magic” of art and writing.
