In the Northeast Woods, features an adorable, fuzzy bumblebee with a New England Aster, both native species in North America. Printed on thick, acid-free archival paper using museum-quality techniques, this piece captures the delicate beauty of woodland pollinators and wildflowers with stunning color fidelity and lasting durability. Perfect for nature lovers, educators, and anyone who appreciates the quiet magic of forest ecosystems. Available in two sizes to suit your space, each print is a celebration of the creatures and plants that make our northeastern habitats thrive.

🌿 About the Artist

Cee Thorketil (C. Grimes) is a naturalist, artist, and writer living with her family on Bard Owl Farm, a regenerative eco-farm and forest in Maine, USA. Her art is inspired by the wild species she encounters in daily nature immersion, woven with her love for storytelling, biology & ecology, and imaginative play.

The name Bard Owl is a play on the owl species name, Barred Owl, whose calls can be heard most nights on the farm. Owls have long been associated with the dream realm, wisdom, and magic, but are also amazing species in their own right! Bard’s are mythical people who can weave magic into their creations. Combining the two terms reflects Cee’s deep connection to nature, fantasy, and the creative “bardic magic” of art and writing.
